Peter Duckworth purchased Fluid Fun in February 2023. Born and raised on the east coast of Scotland, he learned to paddle on the Lochs (Scottish term for lakes) at a young age from his father. After moving to the US in 1999, Peter lived in a number of cities before landing in the Michiana area and ultimately falling in love with the nearby access to lakes, rivers, and other outdoor adventures. When he’s not at Fluid Fun or on the water, Peter can also be found backpacking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering & still spends part of his time leading a team of engineers on simulation projects. Peter, along with his wife and two children, are excited to carry on the Fluid Fun specialty shop tradition here in Bristol.
